(More customer reviews)When I got this MP3 Player, I bought it for sixty or so dollars at a Walmart---eight gigabytes. And, immediately, I loved it.
The screen quality was great, and once I realized what the little arrow in the upper right was (the back/menu button), figuring out everything else was a breeze. The menu itself was very easy to use, and the settings were very understandable.
The sound was great, even on full volume, which is sometimes rare in music players---often times, I'll use something and have it near or on full volume, and the speakers (or earphones, despite how good they were) would snap and hiss or do whatever it is they do.
The player's battery life also made me quite content; on a full charge, it could last numerous hours of straight playing, depending on the volume level and prolonged use of it (I could sometimes go a few days without it ever even reading low).
However...About two years after I bought the player, the battery blew. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the player's fault---I can honestly guess that it was probably mine. What I mean by this is that I could no longer plug the player into the computer, despite which one of the many cords I used (and I'd checked them all beforehand). And, when it first happened, the battery got very, very hot, which lasted for, maybe, ten minutes before starting to cool off.
After that, I tried plugging the player into the wall to see if it would work, using an old phone charger that fit the outlet...and it worked! The player worked fine---as did the radio, voice recorder, etc.---and I could listen to music again, so long as I kept it plugged into the wall. However, when I unplugged it or tried to turn it off, the screen froze and the battery heated up again (I eventually took to just unplugging the player and resetting it, which fixed the battery problem and didn't bother any of the media).
But anyways, I'd certainly recommend this Media Player to nearly anyone, and find it easily worth of five stars.
