(More customer reviews)I always thought that I would buy one of the Apple iPods, but after spending some (poor) quality time with the horrible iTunes software, I was soon cured of that fantasy. The moral of the story is, "If you don't like iTunes, don't waste your money on an iPod".
I really just wanted an player to "drag and drop" my MP3 album folders to and the Creative Muvo V100 was just what I had been waiting for!
Just copy your album folders to the player. You can do it from any Windows PC, without having to install any special software. The player's scroll wheel will allow you to display each album. Go into the album to play the whole thing or select just the song that you want to hear.
Audio quality is great (just get some good "in ear" headphones). Controlling the player with the little wiggle wheel takes some getting used to. Battery life is good (turn off the backlight and it will play twice as long). One caution - if you let the battery run completely out, the player's firmware can become corrupted (it happens to me about 1 out of every 10 times when I let the battery go completely dead). Don't worry - you can fix your "brick" by going to the Creative web site and downloading the "MP3 Recovery Tool".
Now that the price has dropped to $19.99 I'm buying two more!
