(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my husband because he wanted a heart rate monitor for his "spinning" class. Instead of purchasing a wrist monitor, I thought this would be a great alternative because he can listen to the MP3 player and FM radio as well. The FM radio does not tune in well, plus when he brought it to the gym, the volume wasn't loud enough to cover the music that they play on their speakers. You can hear it fine at home, and he believes it may be fine for someone who walks/bikes/runs by themselves. The heart rate montior is not good for spinning class either, because you have to press buttons, to get the heart rate and it just isn't practical to do that during a class. I returned this to Amazon, with no problem.
