(More customer reviews)This case is very protective. With the "classic" cover attached, almost the entire iPod is protected. The included belt clip, although I opted to keep the case in a pocket without the belt clip, is thin and works well.
One major problem is the plastic vinyl screen protector. It was scratched as soon as I opened the packaging, and it gets scratched very easily. It was obstructing my view of the screen, so I ended up removing the plastic vinyl screen protector by beginning to cut it and then ripping it out.
The "viewing window" cover is useless. It doesn't really further protect the iPod, and it is hard to use the Click Wheel through it. It also connects to the case too loosely.
With the "classic" cover attached, this is a rather nice, professional looking case. However, it looks kind of cheap and shoddy with the "viewing window" cover or without a cover.
This is probably the best soft case you can get for the iPod 5G. However, it would probably be better to go for an aluminium case.
